Living in France since 2003. Canadian MSM for my help in perpetuating the Canadian ww1 story.
Not a fan of Boris the 🤡, or Napoléon Bonespurs.
Somebody is under the illusion that the press corps is made up of journalists seeking an answer.

It seems to be more a group of Trump picked gargoyles ready to spout his lies.

Any attempt at journalism is met by insult and threat.

Yes.

Too many YouTube headlines of : "Trump crumbles", "Trump destroyed in court"...

We had 4 years of "Trump about to be put on trial for Jan 6".

And then, he got relelected, so that's out the window.

Too much clutching at tiny wins. It's not the GOP in rebellion, it's Rand Paul.

The world champion ; gold medal ; go to specimen of : Vindicative Bastards 🏅🎖️🥉, would have had them out there in a second if he thought it would hurt others.

He's not protecting friends.
He doesn't have any. Only supplicants.

And yet, lots of people will vote for him, because he stands for everything they do.

Worse still, take a look at the turnout afterwards. How many people weren't that bothered if he got in ?

Same story from America : "oh but a third didn't vote".
So Trump won, because not enough cared.

It's the red hand even on the province flag, just the yellow background instead of white. It even forms the logo of the Ulster Rugby team which represents the entire province.

It's an ancient gaelic symbol.

I'm pretty certain that the Stormont Gov is not fascist.
January 31, 2026 at 11:45 AM
Sinn Féin is now fascist ?

Or are you meaning the fact that the Red Hand is pictured within the EU flag ?

But that was alway alluded to by UKIP as the EUSSR, suggesting it was communist.

Regardless, it remains the official flag.
One day it will change. But today, is not that day.

Taxidermy 😊

So all we discover from the film is that she's been stuffed.
Many, many, times.

Massive difference between then and now.

I remember as a boy watching the news from the southern States and wondering why black people were segregated.

Today I'm watching events, and frankly I reckon, MLK would have been disappeared by Trump / Miller, long ago.

I'm in France and fair enough, we are much smaller, but we can organise legal protests by the weekend for months. By legal I mean proper notice given.

Is the opposition to Trump so fragmented it needs months to put something together ?

HE changes stuff by the day.
Can youse afford to wait 8 weeks.

Thank you for reading the article so I don't have to. 😁

Starting to really sound like the script for :
Terminator : Rise of the Melanias.

When I travelled back from France to visit family before Christmas, I was asked by UK Border Control : "What is the purpose of your visit to the UK ?" 😐

The French have never asked me why I'm returning 😊

They don't identify with him. They identify with his hate filled agenda.

When Trump said he'd carry out mass deportations, poor whites didn't think : "and how does that help me ?".

No, they were all in : "Yes, get rid of brown people."

I notice the racism when I go back to the UK, and I'm a Brit.
January 30, 2026 at 7:33 AM
Why, why, didn't somebody reply :
"so she's an immigrant then ?"
January 30, 2026 at 7:18 AM
Putin hasn't destroyed the USA. Americans have.

There's a lot of talk about how he influenced voters.

If you, even unwittingly, watch blatant propaganda and agree with it : that is who you are.
If you readily believe the lies without fact checking : you aren't influenced, you feel validated.
January 30, 2026 at 7:05 AM
Agreed. The problem starts with the upper ranks agreeing to do the Gov bidding. They are the people to pose the questions about legitimacy.

Everybody else gets told : "cleared at the highest level".

Obedience is everything in the military. In life/death situations, there's no time for the 'why?'.
January 29, 2026 at 12:42 PM
In that instance my impression is that what was happening was far more, in your face, wrong.

Each scenario is different.

We pay the military to kill our enemies, without question. They deserve to be kept legal by their superiors.
The bad should be weeded out.
But patriotism can create zealots.
January 29, 2026 at 10:53 AM
We are witnessing in the USA that many of those in the legal services don't know the law.

Basic training isn't going to cover the intricacies of who needs to authorise what to make it legal, and, did they.

They get told : "President says, national emergency, blow that boat up" and they do.
January 29, 2026 at 7:53 AM
Not high enough for my liking.
January 29, 2026 at 7:42 AM
Trump adores the headlines, if his name had been mentioned the only clip that would have been played on international media would have been :
"... Trump..."

This way Carney's overall message got greater in depth coverage. MAGA had to listen to all of it not just a one sentence résumé.
January 29, 2026 at 7:37 AM
Going to be difficult. The only place that would accept him is Russia, and that would not be exile in the generally accepted terms of the phrase.

He'd move house, but not ideology.
January 28, 2026 at 9:40 PM
Is it uproar in Italy, or simply a statement from the mayor ?

Whilst I whole heartedly agree with the mayor I hate this leftist extrapolation that because one person, even in authority, says something that, 'Italy is in uproar'.

One senator speaks out, GOP in rebellion, stuff.
January 28, 2026 at 8:56 PM
I agree with you.

I merely make the point that for military (especially for lower ranks) things are often not that cut and dried. You can't say : won't do that, here's my resignation (applying personal morality over legal).

She can, which makes her more culpable and she revels in it.
January 28, 2026 at 11:55 AM
Losing power.

No party is there for the good of the country outside of anything that is in their interests. And he who needs convenient laws is best served by being the person to make them.

The Tories went Brexit, and it seems Labour are going Tory 🙄
All because of Farage.
