This fantastic exhibition in Bonn prominently shows the work of some of the most eccentric German vegetarians around 1900. My favorite was this 1913 flag of a vegetarian group that unironically wrote the diminutive of "raspberry juice" on it.

#OTD 1871: Pariser Kommune ausgerufen. Historisch das erste Mal, dass eine Stadt sich ohne Herrschende selbstverwaltete. Auch tierbewegte waren dabei z.B. Louis Michel oder Elisee Reclus.

Die Tagung zu Tieren und Utopien war ein weiteres Positivbeispiel in den HAS, wo die Verpflegung rein vegan war. Dazu unglaublich spannende Beiträge von Personen wie Gregor Taxacher, Cornelia Mügge, Thomas Ruster und vor allem Simone Horstmann, die den Antispeziesismus auch in die Theologie bringen!
