I hope these scum are caught fast. Endangering the lives of two men is unconscionable. Abusing my community’s pain over the Manchester terrorist attack to perform an act of terrorism against the Muslim community is doubly disgust.

These people need to be confronted with their own bigotry. It’s not good enough for those of us who are, erm, older to leave it to our children’s generation to deal with the elevated threat and harassment they receive compared to to my generation some 30 to 40 years ago.

No - I’m Jewish. I shouldn’t speculate but I’d guess far right. The mosque has a history of being lightly attacked and worshippers receiving racial slurs when attending.

My fear is that both ordinary, law abiding Jews and Muslims become collateral damage from escalating extremism in the UK.
