one thing i've noticed in game design that feels incongruous to me, is when a character opens a book they've never read from the middle. i understand that making the book open from the middle is incredibly easy and no one really wants to waste time on a short scene, but i cannot help but notice it.

it is a wonderful feeling when you test your character in mixamo, and it animates exactly how it should (aside from weight painting errors on mixamo's end)
there are some minor adjustments to the base mesh i have to do, but the end is in sight!
