In my humble opinion @jconnollybooks.bsky.social has created one of the finest crime series ever written and The Killing Kind is my favourite of the series, Mr Pudd has to be experienced…and now the series is being adapted for TV…can’t wait!

Tonight’s pick is the The Fog, with the brilliant Tom Atkins, if Jamie Lee Curtis is the Queen of horror then Tom surely the King..one of my favourite Carpenter films and the visual fog effects still look stunning.

This evenings viewing continuing with the Werewolf genre, Ron Moody and Peter Cushing star…remember watching this first as a teen and loved the wolf vision filter scenes, great werewolf design as well, other than American Werewolf in London I’ve got to say I prefer the stand up bipedal versions.

Curse of the Werewolf is such an underrated film, one of my favourite Hammer films, and the wolf curse not passed on by a bite instead by rape, very dark and Oliver Reeds first leading role.
