This is how I feel about Baldurs Gate 1. 2 is the GOAT for me and 3 is great, but I can't make it through 1.

They seem like they're trying to find a place between 5e and Kids on Bikes. I love some of the ideas (duality dice fucking rock), but I'm trying to go the other way.
