Once I get the hair and face in place and make some adjustments to the ribbon-like fabric, the sketch should be done!

Constructive feedback/ideas are appreciated. I think I want to make the figure a bit fuller, and I'm not sure about the head/neck/shoulder connection.

Maybe if I do more of these, I can experiment with different painting techniques or something. 😛

Some of these are bound to be easy guesses, but I might sneak in a surprise or two if this post gets significant enough attention.

This is a study of a pose reference I've wanted to draw since first seeing it. It's actually my second attempt at this pose, as CSP crashed and completely wiped out my progress from a night ago.

I still have plenty to learn and incorporate into my Chun-Li play, but I she's starting to click for me in this game in terms of at least the basics, and that's always a good feeling to have.
Just need to work in the harder stuff now.

I feel like this clip is a great encapsulation of the experience so far.

This is my current method of drawing a pose from reference; I start by tracing over the original reference pose and redraw it as best I can. I then adjust the figure to my liking from here.

(Pardon the footage lagging the audio a bit; blame the PS4's clip-making function, not me. 😛)

Another #streetfighter6 mystery unraveled! Now to work on the timing to punish throw loops with this...!

Drive rush combos with Chun-Li's stance moves certainly test the ol' fingers/muscle memory...

It was a great thing I played KOF 98 to learn Mai before getting this game; the knowledge I gained of her from that title has translated very well to SF6!

I'm simply moving left and right in this clip, but my analog stick registers random up inputs (usually 1-3 frames long) as I move it.
It's not always THIS bad, but plenty of bad jumps and missed special/super inputs have happened from this malfunction.

Even though I can't play SF6 online, the Battle Hub's V-Rival system is still accessible.
It's interesting - the CPU typically doesn't fight with the insane precision and ability to optimize EVERY opportunity like LVL8 CPUs, but the variance in play styles and tactics keeps fights engaging.

Yes, I'm FINALLY back at the tablet, and I have something fun in mind with this drawing. If I can pull it off, it'll be quite the trick - and the treat!
*Constructive feedback welcome*

It was also cool to finally play the game that debuted several iconic Capcom characters.

(Btw, feel free to ask me a question any other time, too. As long as it isn't too personal or offensive, I typically don't mind responding to any comment that comes my way.)

I'm still having fun learning things in this game!
(As a side note, I WISH I could learn art this easily!)

And now I find myself learning meaty set-ups and combos based off of them... You're never too old, folks!
