Finding out then that she could heal herself in some way but that too is at the cost of others, because for her it seemingly always is, I get the feeling that even from an enemy she would hate the deal, the cost, the reminder

Now I'm wondering if Malenia's life steal could mean that not only is the rot of her proximity, in itself, hurting others, but that she can in fact slow her own decay or heal in some small part from directly harming another, too, and how heavily that knowledge must weigh on her own shoulders
