Realize that we also don't know a whole lot of the science of all sorts of supplements as there isn't any real money going into studies very often. But the studies we have done show some potential harms in terms of cancer and all cause mortality. Importantly, they rarely show any benefit.

Nice. An article on the possible harms of supplements when it comes to cancer. Not thorough enough, but basically my oncologist made sure I didn’t take any.

I do love a good map. Especially one that shows all the non-existent crude oil pipelines the US pacific coast has. But of course Canada is the stingy one! Not letting our Alberta crude oil over to BC. Ignore that Canada has the only crude oil pipeline to the pacific coast! Except for Alaska.

The slogan makes no sense as there is no risk to our freedom from the federal government here (unlike the situation in the US).
But also, it’s a brand name for menstrual products. 😂

This is quite costly for something we have a vaccine for. Probably this also leads to increased dementia cases because the flu vaccine lowers the risk of getting dementia. The flu is actually hard on people’s bodies. Yes, most survive, but why go through it if you don’t have to?

I just found out that Sunny the banana and Breezy his blue jay sidekick exist in Melita, Manitoba. Apparently, this area of Manitoba is a couple degrees warmer on average and media was calling it The Banana Belt. So they erected this hilarious statue.
