Beyond Shadowgate
The biggest reason I played through Deja Vu, Uninvited and Shadowgate. I wanted to really get all those references. I had such a fun time and I know I'll replay it. There are still things to see and I just find it comfy to play

I at least like the atmosphere of the Bongo Bongo fight, even if it is also a little goofy. Morpha just has nothing going for it for me

Those torches man. It's still tense when you've already seen the game before and just playing for yourself. It was fun to go through these last three games and fill another hole in my adventure game history

I'm free! I think one of the worst things about the Water Temple for me is the boss though. Neat build-up with something lurking in the water and... it's a blob, a boring-ass blob and water tentacle. Also irritating to fight. In a game full of cool bosses Morpha ain't it.

That is incredible 😂I was getting wrecked in the penguin race with perfectly functioning joycons lol, never mind some slippy slide-y falling in general

Uninvited
I enjoyed it more expected, not because I thought it'd be bad but I wasn't sure where my expectations were. There were a couple obtuse things, but I managed to get through a lot of the game myself fairly smoothly. I think the turn limit of the original would've wrecked me though.

A friend and I have been bouncing around so many theories for a long time now. I'm so curious to see how close we are to the truth on any of them

But yeah, been playing/replaying this series for 10 years now. Love the lore, love the characters. Nervous of how things will proceed and conclude but despite my complaints they haven't lost me yet!

Hey, generally a big fan though it certainly has its ups and downs. Sky and Crossbell are still my fave arcs. I have issues with Cold Steel and some issues with Daybreak--more so II. I'm excited for Beyond the Horizon.

My least favourite of the macventure games. I feel like the more I played the others the more down I got on it going from 'It's...fine." to "meh." I didn't hate my time with it, just...ehhh. I doubt I'll revisit it while I'm likely to one day with the others. Still glad I played it.
