We were curious, so we tried the VGA version of Loom that's on Steam... yeah, glad we went with EGA first. I did enjoy the voice acting (and cute sheep!) but otherwise, nah, the original all the way. Really lost so much atmosphere especially on Loom island. Plus Mark Ferrari's work is just so good!

Now finished Loom! Wish it was a little longer even though I knew it'd be short. It also felt like we were only entering places because of OUR nosiness as opposed to Bobbin having any particular reason. It would've been nice to have some clearer goals on his part.

First session of Loom tonight. Friend is piloting, we went to the dock nearly right away and she hopped off into the water. I immediately tensed expecting a death for a moment lol. My experience with Sierra is only a few years old! And yet! 😂

Finished the second Discworld game tonight. It was...a game. I feel like the issues I had with the first game felt more pronounced here other than difficulty and even then there was some obscure bits.
