I love Dragon Quest XI and the Trails in the Sky remake has been great so far, but bouncing between them hasn't been great for keeping controls straight 😅. Why yes I will keep confusing my sprint, map and menu buttons

Yeah my expectations were on the low side anyway. It didn't feel like there were even many puzzles unless you count shooting. I mainly wanted to play it for the context for the Beyond Shadowgate stuff since that was so cool but not exactly meaningful to me at the time. Excited to get there myself :D

Only 8 deaths/gameovers! Got arrested 3 times out of those 8. I fell in the construction pit twice which is just embarrassing, but I couldn't remember where everything was when I picked it up tonight.

And finished. It was... fine I guess. I read the time limit got removed. I probably would've been screwed with it on if picking stuff up counts as a 'turn'. I was grabbing everything and my inventory was a disaster 😂.

Not often my genre to begin with. I suspect I'll like the other two more.
