the devs needed a story reason to maintain endless replayability but i think it could have done mellinoe more credit if she changed her mind about chronos after killing typhon and regretting it but as things stand it feels like chronos was saved bc he’s less “monstrous”

the more i think about this the more upset i am about the final moments of mellinoe’s lifelong task being diverted to zagreus’ character development after i watched mell die a hundred times. she puts in the work and the brother gets the final payoff? awful.

beat hades 2 last night and what is that ending 😭 bro it’s not a good ending if even the protagonists and companions have to lampshade it. it rly feels like zagreus took melinoe’s choices away from her and that’s fine because she contacted him in desperation.

small narrative detail but i like how hades 2 doesn’t make it weird for a man and a woman to bathe together just because the underworld doesn’t have the same values as earth. and they don’t over explain it either. like yeah why NOT have different cultural norms in a fictional setting?

my favs are hephaestus and zeus, then demeter, hera starts good but falls off in boss rooms, aphrodite and poseidon situational. selene high investment low reward. hermes kinda floppy but at least doesn’t break most olympians’ builds
