I listen to a fair amount of medium/long-form YouTube videos and I always feel bad that they likely put hours into editing visuals I won’t look at while I’m doing the dishes or folding laundry.

@rosemarymosco.com is the foremost birdist on here that I know of.

We huddled together on the sofa under the lamp and read, mostly in silence, occasionally stopping to read passages to each other, put events on the calendar, mark places on the map or find referenced books at the library. It was magical.

Yeah I check the date on some YouTube videos now before watching them. Anything in the last 2 years is immediately suspect.

At this point, I’m just 50% Phineas repost machine and my followers and discord friends are just going to have to deal with it.

Hahahahaha. It was a long time ago when I set it up (I haven’t even loaded any new ROMs in ages), so I wasn’t going to be any help. Glad you got it working.

I second what @alphagodith.bsky.social said. If I see a product using obvious AI marketing stuff, I’m automatically out. So I’d ask them why they’d want to immediately exclude 20% (probably a conservative guess) of their potential market immediately. Also their comments will all be “ai slop”

I think I just wanted to stop killing things. I don’t even shoo most spiders out of the house anymore. I don’t think there was a specific event. (But I also eat a mostly vegetarian diet now too).

I have no problem folding. My problem is hanging. Anything that goes in the closet sits in a pile until it reaches critical mass.
