Viagra Boys are probably my current fav band. I’ve missed their entire US tour in every reachable city due to scheduling. I only found them a few months ago, so obsessing over different eras of their catalog has been awesome. They were going to be my other suggestion, but thought maybe too weird

Happy Birthday! Uh, you don’t know me, but I kickstarted R’lyehwatch (via my wife’s account). That small book is peak game design to me. It sent me down a path of RPG creation. I’ve been slowly working on my own thing. Also by following you here I’ve found some other good follows and cool projects.

It’s a concept album where you’re flipping around the dial, with songs from different genres. Overall, I’d describe it as, “What if Southern Rock in the 80s added synths?”

Sing Along is probably the single best song in the album. The video is a sequence from the anime.

Sturgill Simpson’s Sound & Fury is one of my all time favorite albums. It all started when I saw this image reposted. I still haven’t watched the anime (it’s on Netflix).

losing my shit because my dad was telling me that some country music artist he likes went to the hospital and got high off edibles and made an album that was so far removed from being country music that country music fans of his are having fucking fits about it online but that's not the strange part, the strange part is that this dude sought out the guy who animated those cool 3d jojo intros from parts 1-3 and that one batman ninja movie (i think his name is junpei mizusaki) and got him to animate a full 40 minute short film set to his new weird album and it looks like fucking

This was posted on the MÖRK BORG subreddit and it made me very happy. About how MB, some metal tapes and monopoly dice helped a guy get clean. Another commenter mentioned running JAIL BORG from memory. Things like this make me all warm inside.

I bought a toy camera that prints on thermal receipt paper. I’ve been taking photos of random things. This was from a recent trip to the Halloween section of a Home Goods store.

Burger King has a similar thing, the Veggie Whopper.

Not to be confused with the BK Veggie, which was a veggie burger patty often served either “still frozen” or “burnt puck.”

BK also beat other chains to the Impossible Whopper. They’ve been at the forefront of veg burger options for a long time
