Fwiw I use LinkedIn for career networking & I keep my account private, so only my network can see my posts. I avoid politics or overly personal info. For me, these tactics keep LinkedIn peaceful, but my reach is limited. If your account's public, you may find it as tedious as any other social media.

I’ve read that the peat that accumulates in bogs sequesters carbon, so bogs are carbon sinks. We could use a lot more of them!

I don’t know about myths per se but I would love to learn more about mRNA vaccines, for example why they were so successful against Covid-19, new ones in development, any hurdles to overcome, etc.

Fantastic thread. I agree, it’s great to hear about Gladys getting a PhD so late in life. She was already so well accomplished, I imagine she had a lifelong love of learning that kept her motivated to get the doctorate.
