What do you mean by progressive? This bill isn't. Which taxes for the wealthy did they vote against? The inheritance tax is a big problem for family farms and therefore our food security. Nothing wrong with closing loopholes like the one Clarkson is using but you have to protect family farms.

Policy is decided by the membership. They voted at conference after GE24 to confirm that this remains the policy. Fair votes are part of Lib Dem DNA. Its not about electoral advantage.

We just stopped Nigel Farage’s plan to drag Britain out of the ECHR and tear up people’s rights. Farage wanted to scrap Churchill’s legacy and bring us closer to Trump's America.

Some polls show the Greens ahead of Lib Dems, others do not. In local by-elections Greens are struggling to hold onto seats, let alone make any headway. They are very different parties.
