Geez. Even worse. Their prices are astronomical for nonfood items. They haven’t figured out the tags. (The kind that set off alarms if not deactivated before leaving the store.) or the individual locked boxes that employees at checkouts can unlock.
Or they can have human cashiers.

Walmart.
They enshrine merchandise in a glass museum case so that you can only see part of it. Admiration of the product is encouraged; purchase is frowned upon as it requires additional labor costs.
