👀 I don't think we need a Harvard publication to tell us that "having a conspiratorial mindset" is a predictor of belief in conspiracy theories. Maybe it'd be better to investigate the antecedents to conspiratorial mindsets.

I tend to agree but also observe that the financial incentives driving institutions to pivot to AI are hard to resist. Donors want to hear about your AI vision. AI companies offer "partnerships" with generous short-term subsidies. Students/parents are motivated to pay fees by their fear of AI.

For Evangelicals (the voters Klein thinks Dems can win by opposing abortion), abortion isn't about abortion, it's about imposing their sexual mores on the rest of us. If it were about abortion, they'd be handing out contraception on street corners.

Naive, elite Klein just doesn't understand how Evangelicals decide who to vote for. Evangelicals do not *actually* care about abortion -- they care about seizing the power via the Republican party to promote their worldview.
