Sinks should be higher. We make benches to be at ideal heights for our backs (even though as a tall person they are also too low IMO) but then the sink is set into the bench making it lower. They should be on top of the bench, not imbedded in them.

Playing around with making a Hornet silk attack thing for SL, I always love playing around with a (relatively) simple shape, some UV fuckery, and a scrolling mostly transparent texture. Most of my most liked projects use this same technique.

I think I always like WIP posts more than completed work posts.
Seeing someone post a WIP shot of their art/craft makes me think that they are excited about the work and can't wait to show it off even if it's not done yet.

I just listened to a female singer do a cover of Welcome to the Black Parade, and all the 'boys' got changed to 'girls' and I think it gave me psychic damage.

Todays turning is an apple made from rose mahogany. Was very nice to turn and I got to try a few new techniques to me (needed to make a screw chuck). The stem is just some dowel I had lying around turned down to a golf tea shape.
Gotta make a bunch more, maybe some pears too, to fill a bowl to gift

As a pretty stoic person who doesn't like to show weakness or discomfort, I can tell you boy it fucking sucks to go back to work after a long bout of sick leave, having to explain to every single other employee and regular customer how my body sucks and is broken.

Turned a pokeball today, was pretty fun, it's not a perfect sphere but pretty close for a first time. A bit of tear out on the top there with the end grain, but what are you gonna do.
