I am hoping that rediscovering music I listened to over a decade ago on YouTube will lift me out of my current depression/art block/blegh state. It’s 2 am and I can’t sleep because I’m so excited to be exploring music and building playlists. The student discount is nice too 💸

Some cons of using Tidal:
- the desktop app was awful and froze constantly
- hard to find new music
- no way to see song stats

Some pros of YouTube music I am finding so far:
- ability to switch between listening to just the song or + music video
- ability to comment on songs
- better algorithm

Speed Racer (2008) is my favorite movie, and I only discovered it a couple of months ago. I just love how crazy and cartoony it is. The original anime from the 1960's is something I've been watching on the side, and it's equally as fun and ridiculous. Like, c'mon, the guy's name is literally "Speed"
