But I’m biased because he wrote those songs and i learned them, spending hours practicing them as a teenager.

This was my guitar teacher’s band and this is one of my all time favorite albums. Let It Burn, Dysgenics and Hunter/Killer are the standouts for me.

Yeah I’ve never really understood that as a barrier since you also need to update your drivers license when you move and it’s literally a just a checkbox when you update it.

Do people just not do that? 🤷‍♂️

But the big difference compared to Canada is the length of the ballot. In Canada it’s typically just one box, for your MP. In the US it’s often 2-4 pages, double sided, with dozens of boxes for every single position and initiative. In the US there’s one Election Day per year and EVERYTHING is on it.

In Washington state, mail is the only way to vote. The ballot just shows up in your mailbox, you fill it out at your leisure, and then you put it back in the mailbox (no stamp needed) or bring it to a drop box. It’s unbelievably easy.
