Finally got medication again, I’ve been without my ADHD medication for like a month, and I’ve went from laying on the couch playing video games all day back to making progress on all my projects again instantly

This year has been odd and hard to recap. Objectively 2025 has been a horrible year for the world and so many people I know, lots of people have made posts about how hard this year has been for them. Which makes me feel bad for saying personally it’s been a really good year for me..

Recently I saw someone say that a lot of midlife crises are actually people going “fuck it” and embracing things they’d liked & wanted all along but were told in their youth they should abandon in favor of typical boring “responsible mature adult” things & I hope young folks now internalize that
If you tried to "fit in" by hating everything the internet told you to hate, you would end up forgetting how to enjoy anything. Maybe you'll finally fit in, only to find you're surrounded by those as miserable as you.
Life is too short. If it isn't actually hurting anyone, enjoy what you like.
