It needs to be said more often that the world is a better, more beautiful and more enriching place BECAUSE trans people are a part of it.

Folks, today (20 Nov) is Transgender Day of Remembrance and I hope everyone can take some quiet moments to reflect and acknowledge on the violence and harm that has taken many from our wonderful Trans+ communities historically.

And a reminder that it costs nothing to be kind to everyone.

turns out they simply refuse to log any support requests even if you do get through to a human

guess that is a good way of having amazing stats in your monthly reports! #microsoft

pst import also now constantly fails. again, no avenue for support in spite of paying for pro level. can someone get me a working contact method for business support?? #microsoft

it looks like the workaround I used last time to delete malicious emails is now also broken. Microsoft blocking admins completely from protecting users unless they pay for the highest level licenses, yet again

For every entry-level vacancy, there are 39 people on the JobSeeker payment.
Of those, 25 have barriers to work. This is the highest ratio ever recorded by the Snapshot.
Entry-level jobs now make up just 11% of all vacancies.

Finally got back from the tech the camera my parents bought in 1981. I can't recall when it stopped working but I've wanted to fix it for a long time. Even took it to Germany to try to get it fixed in Dresden where it was built.

Really looking forward to seeing how the first roll of film comes out.

Chatbots — LLMs — do not know facts and are not designed to be able to accurately answer factual questions. They are designed to find and mimic patterns of words, probabilistically. When they’re “right” it’s because correct things are often written down, so those patterns are frequent. That’s all.

it's very satisfying to see recognisable negatives come out of the developing chemicals, especially for a camera you've never used before, that's at least 65 years old
