This idea that the Admin is trying to sell that they don't have to respond to, much less be bound by, an individual district court judge is particularly pernicious. We have 3 levels of federal courts. The orders of all of them are equally binding. If you don't like decisions, you can appeal.

I think we need to start operating with the understanding that this administration is lawless and will openly tell judges to go fuck themselves.
DOJ claims national security and diplomacy prevents them from disclosing further info to the Court.
Judge continues to press the DOJ for flight info.
