Building a great social experience isn't just eng—there are tons of nuanced, non-tech decisions—but the eng is necessary (and very hard). The beauty of at proto is it abstracts away a lot of the eng work so people _can_ focus on the hard non-eng work

We're thinking about building a web interface where you can type stuff like this and it updates your algorithm. Basically if you say "I don't want posts about X" then we will filter out posts that are very popular among accounts known for X. What kind of interface are you imagining?
