A large amount of subreddits still have minimum account age and minimum account karma thresholds, because Reddit was overrun by spammers, chuds, and sockpuppets, years ago, & automod configs aren’t overhauled regularly.

Because hating and fearing pit bulls, he reasoned, led to hating & fearing the cultures (and thus the ethnicities in those cultures) that treated pitbulls as symbols of masculinity

And it worked. His subreddit was the outer layer of the recruitment onion for his white supremacist views.
