so sad to hear about Lamarr Wilson's passing. didn't watch him often, but every time I did it was clear he was quite the beacon of light. even if you didn't know of him, I recommend watching this video from Austin Evans where he tells a few stories about him. 1/2

i reposted earlier but what baffles me, truly, are the assertions that there's authority vested to the executive branch (or the board in this particular case) to override acts of Congress and rename/close departments.
all of that has to be done with bills passed through the House/Senate. 1/

DRAM prices mooning will hurt everyone and might cause a consumer tech recession on its own in the next 12 months even without the AI bubble popping.
Hyperscalers are going to jack up prices for cloud resources, electronics manufacturers (Apple, Samsung, etc.) will raise prices, this is gonna hurt.

worked myself basically to death yesterday, passed out at 9:45pm and slept until my shift literally started at 1pm today. i did not repeat that mistake today, as there was not as much to do as yesterday, and am still tired.
