This doesn't begin to touch in the conversation as air travel as a big collective fuck you to the world, needs for degrowth and boycotting/strikes.
Imma reiterate this, every single airliner that takes off is capable of this, 12 people died here, when will we hear the canary sing?

When you debate peoples basic rights, and foment violence and hate on the daily, some of it might come back to you.

The ones calling it out are the ones who consider themselves part of the same group and are worried they could be involved next time. Because of the conditions created by them there will be a next time.

There's nothing wrong with being vegan, but since here it's being used for profit by companies whose profit driven methods cause environmental damage in the first place, it can't be used as a solution.

As always within the context of western capitalism. Veganism like anything is unsustainable because regardless of an individual's reasons it exists here as a non-solution to a capitalist problem.

There are 2 more principles western leftists and progressives don't understand, 1 you can't change the system from the inside, and 2 democratic centralism where people of all walks who want a better future form small groups along ideologies and then form larger orgs in turn based on common goals.

Capitalism has 2 basic approaches, called the carrot and the stick.
The carrot includes social programs so people won't complain as much and just go to work.
The stick is where austerity measures are used to keep people so busy and tired that they don't have the energy to organize.
