We need to have a long conversation as a world about air travel. Every single aircraft could be a UPS2976 without regulation and proper maintenance. And even then, the tragedy might have been prevented with 1000-2000ft extra runway.

Political violence is when people are denied food, housing, healthcare and education by POLITICIANS, which charlie was not. Palestine is a victim of political violence.

How have we gotten so lost in regards to context and seeking mutual benefit? I assume this applies mostly to us westerners living in bourgeois democracies. In example chatting with an acquaintance and I suggested veganism is unsustainable.

Why are people so caught up in the word oligarchy just now, as if the USA wasn't founded by a handful of oligarchs. This isn't a new shift in our country it's a reversion to past ideologies. The funny thing is, you can't go back, my main worry is how many lives it could cost to break the chains.

This stuff isn't a mystery, Marx Engels Lenin and Ho Chi Minh have all written quite a lot about all of this.

Folks going to protests this next few weeks. Great I love the energy, but if you don't talk to people there and start or join organizing efforts, you might as well just hang out with a loved one instead. The only way out of this is withholding labor and organizing with other workers.

Just fyi, Costco sells plan b and you don't have to be a member just say you're going to the pharmacy. Last I heard each person can buy 2 per day.

Seeing all the SNL50th posts brings to light something I don't think people realize.
