I am reading Min Jin Lee's "Pachinko", and watching the series on Apple. Of course the book is more complex. I love the series, but the book is more compelling, and written chronologically, instead of jumping back and forth in time as the series does. Great read.

I listened to Jimmy Carter's grandson eulogize him today. It makes me glad to realize the many people who admired Carter's character and accomplishments, and who are in this country do going for their families, communities and the country. It gives me hope.
