(she/they) Queer wheelchair user in desperate need of sleep
It's now that I'm going to encourage you all to watch the German film "The Wave". It's based on a real event from here in the US.

Filmmakers in Germany saw it and wanted to make it a film set in Germany as a warning, because even though Germany tries to do a lot of education around...

Want to know how they actually don't care what gender uses a bathroom? A business left their women's wheelchair accessible stall unusable for weeks, forcing me to use the men's room. No one complained. I pass as a cis woman too.

Men weren't told why I used their restroom. They didn't care.
I don't care what bathroom bans they pass, I will never comply. They want us afraid and submissive to their authoritarian attacks on our existence. Don't give it to them. Be ungovernable.

Whenever you see a horrific story of a child predator being caught, they're always a conservative, bigoted man. Never a queer person. Never a trans person. Never a drag queen. And conservatives all hypocritically rally to protect the evil doer.

Every accusation is a confession with them
The party of rapists wants to use trans people as an excuse to have adults ask about and inspect little girls genitalia.
House GOP have developed a bill that gives child predators and pedophiles the ability to ask little girls about their bodies and ask for physical inspections. All of this to try and ban trans people from sports! It’s disgusting. Parents don’t want this.

It truly sucks when you find out someone who you thought was an ally was just spouting things he didn't believe, but knew would get him fame and make people feel safe around him so he could take advantage of them.

I loved his work, and it's all tainted now
Cultivating a feminist persona so that he would appear to be safe for women so he could groom them and SA them is the hallmark of a true predator. He was adroit at camouflage and is incapable of accountability.

Remember that January 20th 2025 is Martin Luther King Jr Day.. A day of service. Let's not be consumed by any other events of the day and let's focus on service to those less fortunate.

I'm so glad the Dems are holding nothing back attacking the trans sports ban in the House. It would enable child predators by allowing them to inspect the genitals of little children to ensure they aren't "trans."

Oh, and I'll be mad we didn't get canon #SwanQueen until the day I die.
Finally finished #OnceUponATime. I generally hated the final season, though it had some admitted bright spots. Alice x Robin, Roni's wardrobe pre-awakening, and Regina's ending are basically the only things I liked.

I'm glad I finished the show, but the drop off in quality after season 3 was real

I'm finally finishing #OnceUponATime, and the final season is a piece of trash. Giving that blatant "Up" montage ripoff to one of the most toxic ships of all time is a travesty.

The show should've ended ages before season 7.

It's sad that we lost President Carter today. He had a long life of humanitarian efforts that he often did with his own hands. He was a great man who truly lead by example. My heart goes out to his loved ones. #RIPPresidentCarter

Went to sleep to my internet not working on just my laptop, but decided I could probably fix it using my usual tricks in the morning (it happens at least once a day for a few minutes).

Woke to find it still won't work on stritctly my home wifi. Merry freaking Christmas to me. #ihatechristmas 1/2

#Disability storytime. Got into a slight disagreement with my care aide today. She's great at her job, and she really cares about disabled people. She actually got into the field for the right reason, unlike a lot of people. Just for background. Now, for the issue: She asked... 1/17

It's so annoying when you have to watch something be on sale for 24 hours, but you're still too poor to afford it cheap. You just have to watch it at $15 slip away because you know it's not essential. #povertysucks

I need to do my physical therapy, but I'm too lazy. I skipped it yesterday because I ran out of spoons.

Someone tell me I have to go do it right now, or I'll just keep sitting here.

Not only do public libraries offer essential services like this, but they hold fun events that people wouldn't expect out of a library. FUNDED public libraries often do more than just educational and kid-centered gatherings. Mine held horror movie nights during October

Your library may surprise you
I say again, support your local public libraries!

We visited ours today to file our toddler’s first-ever passport application. It’s a major public service not all libraries offer, so we are super thankful this is a thing here. The whole process took just an hour (including a stop for pastries).
