they lose their shit over the most basic requests: calling people by their pronouns, acknowledging their gender, affirming trans people exist. the reason is clear. they go after sports and HRT for minors bc transphobes are organized. but their vision is that none of us be allowed to exist. period

in particular, if i want to report a post to a list, the context is essential, so i can't block the other person

i've been repeatedly misgendered and harassed by people like this. and they are convinced that the site empowers them to do so because they can harass someone to the point of distress, at which care the block will hide all evidence of their abusive behavior. it's so fucked up and victim blaming

block is bullshit in my opinion. it means that MY posts are also hidden, which i often don't want. and they hide the evidence that this person was harassing me

ultimately, it's created a culture where people think they're entitled to abuse and harass you as much as they want bc you aren't blocking

gf and i always wear masks when we're out, but hoped we'd be ok around family... no luck. i've been warning people since, and managed to persuade a very sick online friend to take a covid test. it turned out she had it, too. i think numbers are much worse than we know bc people aren't testing

my gf and i visited her family at the end of april and got very sick with covid. it seems ridiculously contagious--not only did every single family member get covid, but our roommate got it from us within 1.5 days after we returned home. it was my first time with confirmed covid and i was so sick

that looks so comfortable, too. damn this dog has way more style than i do (which is not hard, admittedly)
