There'll never really be a collective agreement between trans folks here. I'd hate to be excluded from language used for cis men, via assumption, bc I'm trans. Familiarity helps! 💛

I think the key here is trying to use familiar language with people you're already familiar with, cis or trans.

That makes it sooo much easier for me to math out the intentions and decide if I need to talk to someone or not haha.

Honest to god, as a trans guy, "honorary girl" is so weirdly affirming any time I think about it lol.

Strictly speaking for me; it's all about framing. Most of my friends are guys, and if I was invited to a girls space as "the guy who can hang" and not "the guy who was a girl" I'd be stoked haha.
