I guess sometimes trafficked sex slave children have imperfect teeth or need a skincare procedure or need to be made blond instead of brunette or other maintenance / enhancements the way you’d take care of a house or set of golf clubs or a car, because they are just property / objects.

In the US it’s three to four parts with ad breaks. Sitcoms are often only 22 minutes, never more than 24.
