But knowing when to switch stages is important.
Too much execution can cause burnout. Taking a break and doing something else entirely can let connections form in your brain that makes writing easier in the future.
But dont get stuck thinking. trust yourself that the ideas you have are enough

Execution:

this is where i sit down and force myself to write. most of the time, if i did Exploitation enough, Im usually raring to go with ideas and can let the words flow free.

I see people mostly struggle at the execution stage, thus my initial advice.

Exploitation:

here i will force myself to do something mindless and physical. maybe I'll play a comfort game or do some chores. This gets my brain to wander and start synthesizing new ideas from all the parts acquired during exploration.

Exploration:

This is where I consume media of all kinds. i read, i watch movies and tv, listen to podcasts. just start collecting new connections and ideas. at this stage i may write short notes about themes that tie into my current projects or note ideas the really resonated with me
