"Write what you know" might work to some extent, but sometimes, you just need to write what you know YOU want to see written, especially if there's nothing like it already.
It may be niche, but someone will appreciate it.

"Write what you know" might work to some extent, but sometimes, you just need to write what you know YOU want to see written, especially if there's nothing like it already.

On a hard scene? One where the words just are not flowing? Write it badly! You will end up getting new ideas and better ways to write stuff in the middle of something else , to come back and fix it later!

Too much execution can cause burnout. Taking a break and doing something else entirely can let connections form in your brain that makes writing easier in the future.
But dont get stuck thinking. trust yourself that the ideas you have are enough

this is where i sit down and force myself to write. most of the time, if i did Exploitation enough, Im usually raring to go with ideas and can let the words flow free.

Fuckin eh right! Battle for Zendikar was one of my favourite story blocks. Hot woman Sorin woulda gone soooo hard
AND we coulda had similarly awful Sorin/Avacyn mother/daughter stuff but nope. sorry. male.
Sorin too. We coulda had radioactively toxic Nahiri/Sorin student/teacher yuri but instead we just got brooding pretty boy tumblrbait...
