Thanks for caring about them. This job is not easy and those doing it aren't nearly as well-paid or protected as they should be. This is an issue across the country, in many (if not all) hospitals. Poor management, poor, unsafe working conditions, and pay that does not properly compensate.

It is crucial that lossless audio becomes the norm (like it should have been a long time ago)

Also personally I wouldn't start with Spotify. Compressed audio. Just sets a bad precedent for this "archival project." The last thing we need is the history of music only being accessible in a compressed format, prone to degradation just like all of the early youtube/internet videos.
