Love this tune, definitely staying on my stick. This guy gets it. Got to see him play at a semi-secret warehouse location in the states recently. Legend

Two things.

Spotify doesn't stand for anything except money. "Protecting creators." From what, making a living? The normalization of this app has created a world where musicians can't earn a living with their music. That's wrong.
Spotify Music Library Scraped by Pirate Activist Group
A pirate activist group has reportedly scraped and released metadata from Spotify, and intends to release 86 million audio files.

As the year ends, let me thank public school teachers who, under difficult circumstances, are doing their best to educate our kids.

If this country is to flourish, we need the best education system in the world. Let’s fight for a nation where teachers are well-paid & respected.

Crazy big plays. Hope this guy goes far
I was the only candidate to speak out against the proposed Freedom Plaza casino at its first public hearing, but that wasn’t enough. In September, I released this video to inform the broader community of this project. I am pleased to say that because of community input, the casino was voted down.

Why are we actually seriously making comparisons between burgers, CLOTHES, and AI data centers? Holy shit man.

It's not complicated and the article even says as much.

Burgers? A waste. 16K golf courses using up to multiple millions of gallons a day? A waste. ChatGPT? A waste.

Clothes? Debatable
You’re Thinking About AI and Water All Wrong
Fears about AI data centers’ water use have exploded. Experts say the reality is far more complicated than people think.

"In 1980, Yusef Lateef declared that he would no longer perform any place where alcohol was served. In 1999, he said: 'Too much blood, sweat and tears have been spilled creating this music to play it where people are smoking, drinking and talking.'"

Neglected to post about this producer previously. I should have. Some of the most exciting stuff I've heard recently. Next-level sound design. Going straight into my year-end mix. Gotta finish...

The stuff Phonetix & crew are doing as Vibe Addicts deserves more attention. Crazy soulful and lush 2-step garage. Wait for the keys to go off near 2 minutes. That's music.

I go to a lot of shows. I am sick of bad event ticketing platforms that are a hassle to use and prey on customers and their data. This one, on the other hand, is great.

This is not an ad. I just love what they do. Please consider if you're running events.

Qobuz has a problem, listing different artists under one name. It happens on other services like Apple and Spotify, but it isn't nearly as prevalent.

As music lovers it is our duty to play and listen to music as often as possible

DJs need to wake up and realize the importance in IDing music they play. Right now we have a crucial role to play in keeping music authentic and human.

The more that you leave people in the dark, the more they will rely on AI curation. That means more good music gets left behind.

Stop gatekeeping

Love how AI companies and their governments are scrambling for massive amounts of resources, sucking the planet dry, and we're all still looking at video/image compression artifacts in 2025.

There are a lot of solid streaming alternatives, and a lot of ways to export/migrate libraries/playlists.

Qobuz, Apple Music and many others pay artists more per stream than Spotify.

This company is completely insane.

"Kalshi was valued at $2 billion in June 2025.[8] Three months later, Kalshi was noticed by FastCompany as engaging in efforts to legalize sports betting for 18-year olds"

Zero morals
The co-founder of Kalshi says: " The long-term vision is to financialize everything and create a tradable asset out of any difference in opinion."

Bitterness has no place in my progression as a DJ, or as a person. My frustrations are for me to deal with, not anyone else. Stay focused.

It is absolutely mind-blowing how far ahead Joris Voorn was. This track goes harder and sounds better than 99% of the stuff being released now. It's 20 years old.

RealPage claims that its software, which landlords have used to collude on rents, is protected by the First Amendment.
