Hey @electrek.co , your blocker footer taking up 1/3 of the screen makes me actively hate your site more and more. I’m not going to turn off adblocking on my devices nor the PiHole on my network just to read a story. Figure out a better way to monetize.

I just went the other way, upgrading from an old USG+CloudKey2 mainly to declutter our closet (put it in a rack) and to have more power/storage for growing number of Protect cameras.

Some jackass in an F-150 at the Home Depot parking lot hit my car & ran while I was shopping yesterday.
Thankfully a witness had me paged and gave me info for the insurance claim & possible police report if needed
Fortunately it’s cosmetic but I’m guessing the bumper is going to have to be replaced

UDM Pro swap is finished & I’ve cleaned it all up. Now I'm just waiting for Amazon to deliver the rack. I’ve found that the ironing board makes a nice, narrow workbench in tight spaces like this!

After a year+ of deleting all content from it and stopping use of my old Twitter account, I finally deactivated it. It's not getting any better over there so there's no use in hanging onto that handle.

AT&T is finally offering 2 and 5 Gbps service in my area now!
I would have to upgrade my wiring and network equipment to take advantage of this, so I won't be upgrading any time soon, but it's good to know the infrastructure has the headroom to support it.

Finally got off my butt and got me CKA cert renewed. 2 hours was a lot harder than the old 3 hour format but i still nailed with with a 93 grade!

TIL Peter Jurasik (Londo Mollari from #Babylon5) was Crom in #TRON! I've watched that movie at least 20 times and am a huge B5 fan but I never realized this. Now, I'm sad he didn't have a bigger part!

So I've been having short (~10-minute) AT&T Fiber outages that happen every other Tuesday around 9:30am. It self-resolves and I'm 99% sure it's something upstream of my AT&T Residential Gateway and/or ONT. I tried to open a chat about this and am not sure if I should laugh or be offended! 😆
