in the past I've drawn an OC holding a banner, and shared photos of a disease-- I don't sugarcoat things. it's Real, and part of the education is encouraging ppl to avoid BS like cutesy layman or misleading terms , eg how journalists report on xyz.

I know; in my experience ppl on social media just don't like real, uncomfortable facts. if it's something that doesn't impact them, it's scrolled past- plus if it disrupts the aesthetics of their account, 👎.

but education doesn't work if it isn't shared by more than the subject group 😣
