Scandals is doing a lot of work there. Erosion of civil liberties. And it's not divorced from economics. The tariffs are arbitrary and tyrannical and raising costs. The deportations are cruel and won't fix housing and wages. The DOGE cuts and the shutdowns are JOBS.

How tough they were on immigration. Politicians need to persuade people, not just frantically run to match whatever incorrect thing people believe. Only a few, like Warren, really seem to get that.

Is that it's really not. Immigrants commit less crime, they help our economy, and the process is shit but most "illegal" immigrants are trying to do it right and unable because of our system.

The pollsters have very much had the wheel for the last few years. It's why rank and file have been weak or downright bad on trans rights, immigration, and civil rights.

Yeah I don't think this message is insincere. Really I think this is what we should be doing. My comment is more of a commentary on all the months preceding where there were constant news stories about consultants telling Dems to ignore the fascism and focus on eggs and rent.
