There are many small uses for it. My argument was really targeted at writing legitimate code for real code based that will get used by real end users. It's just not what people believe it to be, and I think it will come back to bite some people in the butt eventually.

Oh, I forgtlot: changelogs, docs, commit messages. Agents are fantastic at writing the first, or even final draft. Saves me massive amounts of time, leads to better docs, and resolves writing blocks.

It's a nice idea generator, or for sifting through data, but the code should be written by a person with architecture in mind.

AI can be a wonderful tool, but actually writing code for you (or replacing an engineer as some people like to think it can or will) just does not seem to be one of it's strengths

I disagree. I think that's why he wants people to have more children. More cheap labor and more people to buy his products. He wants a bigger economy, but he wants everyone to remain trapped. Essentially modern day feudalism. It's the only way his wealth can continue to grow.
