I wasn’t invited to the “king of the Hill” event. It’s hard to find the words, but I felt like I needed to say something not entirely out of anger, but also out of the deep ache in my heart. This show was part of my life for many years. That character, that voice, that story…they were my home, my pride, my connection to something bigger than myself. To not be invited felt like being shut out of a place I helped build. And this pain comes during one of the hardest seasons of my life. Not long ago, I lost the home I grew up in burned to the ground. Everything I owned…gone. My memories, my keepsakes, and most painfully, all of my dogs. My companions, my family, my comfort in this world lost to the flames. I’ve been rebuilding, piece by piece, soul by soul. And while this latest heartbreak stings, I want to take a moment to thank you, my fans, my friends, and my family of followers. You’ve been the ones to lift me up, to remind me of the impact that I’ve made, and to carry me through some of the darkest days of my life. Your love means more to me than I can ever say. I wasn’t invited to the event, but I still carry you all with me. And that’s what keeps me going. My dad used to shine shoes at that theater many years ago. And I will honor him. Years late but I started watching #criticalrole C3 and was compelled to make this stupid image (I am on episode 40 and have no idea what’s going to happen)

The back of my Eila sweater. A 2x2 broken rib pattern raglan sweater. I wear this one all the time The Cruiser cardigan in an ultraviolet, tweedy yarn. My Eclipse of Moths sweater in a purply-red marled combination of twoo yarns held together, and a stranded yoke pattern in a light gray fluffy yarn. The motif is of moths and stars. The back of my granny square cardigan. The squares alternate between solid squares and squares made with black, brown, gray, and yellow yarn. No pattern for this one.

Thinking about Misfits and one of my favorite gags of all time
In the first frame a group of confused and frustrated juvenile offenders gather around a piece of vandalism they’ll have to clean up as part of their community service. A young white man with brown hair says “I’ll tell you who did it, it’s that Banksy prick. There’s a hidden meaning”. In the next frame the graffiti is revealed: it says “I’m going to kill you” in giant red lettering. “Kill” is underlined three times.
