I used to be a Times New Roman person, leftover from journalism school. But I really enjoy Verdana. Calibri is also nice. TNR now grates my eyes as much as single spacing on a student submission.

Dad’s so much better than last yesterday, got more cat cuddles, and now having frozen lasagna that my dad made, watching The Bishop’s Wife with Cary Grant. So good!

I’m sorry, he lost his passport, and he’s going on a domestic flight, but the CSA at the airline says he can’t go on the plane?? Not true. You just get sent to extra security.
Oh, and he is stuck because he’s trying to go to Denver but there’s snow there!

I had a student who claimed I gave them a failing grade on an essay because their “opinion differed” from mine. I actually gave a failing grade because they cited one source for an essay required to use at least four sources. Sometimes, you don’t meet the criteria. They revised and passed.
Oklahoma University has placed a grad student instructor on admin leave for failing a psychology paper on gender for citing *the Bible* as a source of empirical evidence.
In response, OU has placed on instructor on admin leave citing, get this, the FIRST AMENDMENT.

Hey, #CSU football putting on a little show, but probably not enough to keep the Ram Falcon Trophy. Sad to see this in-state rivalry come to an end. I grew up watching AFA football and then graduated from CSU. It’s always been a top game even when the teams are bad, like now.
