I know that ppl don't generally mean this by "genderfucked" but I really do prefer that term because I have always felt as though gender has fucked me and there's not much that I can personally say by way of gender identity beyond that.

I don't think people who work outside of office spaces realize the extent to which AI has successfully installed itself into everyday routines. Many people I know will use it before anything else +/or be directed to use it by their boss due to the perception that it will be easier to use than excel

Sometimes I wonder how much of a different person I would have been if I discovered a different set of theorists in highschool instead of Hegel, Stirner, and Cioran. I wonder what would have happened if I made a late entry into pop culture - would I have ended up in the same place?

Slowly realizing just how unpleasant my own internal experience is comparatively to the vast majority of the people around me. I think I kinda just assumed it was like this for everyone.

The weirdest thing about working where I do now was finding out that so many people here casually take personal/business calls while using the restroom and I didn't realize that was a thing that people actually did.

To reiterate, any political practice that places its bets on serendipity to materialize will never result in anything beyond a population of reassured moderates happily dancing off a cliff-side.
In 2026, we can’t take the easy path by giving in to despair. We have to keep doing something to be ready for the moment the right combination of events align and we can see a better future.

Haven't seen it and don't care for the franchise at all, but incensed that the ST finale has provoked the exact kind of negative response from suicidality counselor influencers that is encouraging from the perspective of someone who has been through it.

Realizing that the most effective form of writing for me is a series of shorter entries that don't ever attempt or claim to entirely treat an issue or concept. It's more about providing landmarks for someone to navigate at some later point
