New research: public ownership of water could cut bills by £3–5bn a year.

Night Thoughts

Our time here on earth is the blink of an eye compared to such giants. None of us was alive when this photo was taken. US cavalry soldiers pose in front of a tree that became known as the "Grizzly Giant" in 1900.💚☘️🌱🌿🌲🌳🍀💚
The tree is still standing. 💚🌲🌳

Would the Tories know the truth if it walked up to them and bought them a coffee?
This week, the Tories declared: “We’re going to do politics differently: we’re going to tell the truth.” So is the old Tory party dead? Or is it still alive? Is this Schrödinger’s Tories?

Read about this and other snippets from East Anglia Bylines’ political diarist @pecksniffsdiary.bsky.social
