Flying back to Nairobi from airstrip near Naibosho Conservancy and Olare Motogoro Conservancy (4 nights at each, staying at the Kicheche "camps"; very lovely accommodations, excellent food & service, & 16 photo game drives over 8 days---amazing opportunities! Now on to more of the same in Botswana!

Not 4 the faint of heart; this is the way of the wild. Lions killed a zebra,as they eat the dead zebra, hyenas (40-50, incl. some from other families which were quickly run off), another lone M lion comes (V hungry); orig. lions leave. M Lion gets some meat before hyenas & vultures finish it off.

Brown spotted hyena (female), in her burrow protecting her babies from a male of the same species lurking about, looking to steal them (to kill and eat)

Several families (8-12 animals) of elephants, grazing the abundant grasses and drinking out of a watering hole. Lots of moms with babies aged 3 months to 5 years.
