You want to be able to have fresh restaurant food on demand at cheap prices? This is how you make that happens—by building a fuckton of silly little delivery robots that anyone can rent the services of for a tiny fee.

I think markets are fine, just that outside of a few tankie circles this might be fighting the last war. Vaush identifies as a market socialist on some level, etc. so this doesn't necessarily come down on hard ideological lines nowadays.

I had to go through a Mormon seminary which while not a Catholic seminary is still fairly substantial.

I think that something about things being really old short circuits people's logic, like the time immemorial argument has some sort of reflexive advantage. I am mostly staring down Mormonism/Judaism here but all religions do this. Atheists even do this sometimes with like Epicurus.

American Diabolism filtering down into Democrat Diabolism once the viewer decides that Republicans and their voters have no agency and therefore everything ever is the D's fault. If that wasn't the case then strategy would matter and they couldn't be a perfect pure smol bean anymore.

Dems have gotten every anti-trans rider removed from every bill that's come through this congress, something that's taken considerable political capital. Oregon, a blue state, is often ranked as having the most progressive trans policy in the world.
