(sometimes, if I'm out in a public place with Kit and they start to feel overwhelmed, they'll ask me to distract them so pointing out things like fonts and stuff is something I'll probably make use of. If it helps them feel safer and more secure then that's all that matters)

I hope that, just because I do have an interest in stuff like fonts on public signs and other completely random and insignificant things, I'm not going to be automatically lumped in with insufferable folk like on the original screenshot.

Someone commented the other day how lovely it was to see me go on excitedly about old telephones and just for a moment it was lovely to feel validated about being "odd" and having very weird interests. But now, back to reality.
