Have you ever been driving down Governor's Drive in Huntsville and wondered who Dr. Joseph E. Lowery Blvd was named after? Well, Joseph Lowery was born in Huntsville in 1921 and chose purpose over bitterness in the face of Jim Crow.

We opened the line and found corrosion packed so tight the water couldn’t even move. When a system fails like that, you don’t patch around it, you fix the root cause. That’s how I work, and in 2026, it’s how we'll Fix the House in Washington.

Born in Decatur, AL in 1956, Mae Jemison fell in love with science early, even correcting a teacher who told her she should be a nurse, not a scientist. She graduated high school at 16, earned degrees from Stanford, went to medical school at Cornell, and served as a Peace Corps medical officer.

This campaign isn’t about one person, it’s about the people behind it. Thank You.
While Dale Strong relies on big money and D.C. connections, we’re building something different: a grassroots movement fueled by teachers, tradespeople, parents, and small-business owners across this district.

Leadership & Legacy: John Stallworth and the Power of Persistence

John Stallworth grew up in Tuscaloosa in the 1950s, one of four children raised by Mary and David Stallworth. Like so many young boys in Alabama, he grew up dreaming of one day suiting up for the Crimson Tide.

February is Black History Month, and this month we’re taking time to honor the Black leaders and neighbors who helped build our communities.
Through Leadership & Legacy, we’ll be highlighting Black figures from across the district — past and present — whose leadership and service shape North Alabama

FYI, Dale Strong is our Republican Congressman. For now.

Democrat Primaries are May 19, 2026.

YOU get to decide who can beat him in the General Election in November.

Today we remember Alex Pretti, an ICU nurse, a committed citizen, and a lawful carrier who believed in serving others and defending his freedoms. His loss raises urgent questions about balance, accountability, and leadership. Now more than ever we need principled voices in Congress

With some wild winter weather headed our way, now’s the time to get prepared. I’ve spent years fixing houses as a master plumber, now I’m running to help fix the one in Congress. But today, let’s start with yours. Here are a few simple steps to winterize your home.

Don’t skip step 3!

Today we pause to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and to reflect on the work he called each of us to carry forward.
“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”

Nothing better than a beautiful day spent out in the community!

We had an absolute blast walking in the 11th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Unity Parade with 20 incredible volunteers—laughing, waving, taking photos, and soaking up all the good energy along the route.

Come out and watch the MLK Day Parade tomorrow as Huntsville comes together to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Line the streets, bring your friends and family, and be part of this powerful day of remembrance and unity.

We can’t wait to see you out there!

When your representative votes against your health care, something’s broken.
Dale Strong voted no.
130,000 Alabamians may pay the price.
Let’s go fix the House.

Today I stood in Montgomery with Democratic candidates from all across Alabama as we officially qualified to run. To me, it wasn’t paperwork, it was a reminder of why we’re doing this. Folks deserve leaders who listen, tell the truth, and actually show up for their communities.
